If you are wondering what happened to day one well, day one was yesterday. Yesterday I spent about 32 minutes on the Wii Fit. I did Advanced Aerobics and Rhythm Boxing and some Yoga and Strength exercises. At first I was okay, but then when I went to take some night Theology classes I am taking I started to feel the pain. The pain was, and still is, in my thighs and my abdomen. I went on to sleep and I felt pain. I woke up and I felt pain. I went to school and felt pain all day. But don't take me wrong, I like this pain. This pain is a symbol of my new beggining in excersise. It feels like the pain I felt in my thigs four days after Christmas when I did lunges. But lets talk about today.
Today I went to school feeling pain. I felt pain everytime I tried to move and I kept groaning when I had to stand up or sit down or bent down to get something. After school I got home and around 5 P.M. I started in the Wii Fit. Today I mostly did Aerobics to burn off fat and a bit of the other excersices. When I worked out I didn't feel pain but everytime I stopped the pain returned. I did 31 minutes continuisly and then took a 5-10 minute break. After the break I went on to do a Rhythm Boxing routine that took up thirteen minutes. Then I stopped using the Wii Fit for a while. I went on the TV and put a Movie and started walking for about 40 minutes. After the walk I went on to do Yoga, Balance and Strenght for 19 Minutes. Which when added up totals 1:43 minutes of work out. Not bad, I know. I had nothing else to do, LOL. SO then I went on to do a Body Test. I weighed 257.9 (in the beggining I weighed myself and weighed 259.9) which means so far I've "lost" 2 pounds. Tomorrow, I'll do another routine and see how I end up. And now unto the Stats & Info.

Getting Motivated...
Hi, I'm Alex. I am a seventeen year old puertorican guy who is extremely overweight. On November 2008, after much insistence from my grandmother, my mother took me to the Doctor for a physical test. When the Doctor weighed me I was weighing 270 lbs using size 40 pants and X-XX Large Shirts. He gave me some tips and sent me to do various blood tests to ensure that I was fine. I had good blood pressure, good sugar/sodium/ and everything else levels except for my triglycerides. So when I went back on December 2008 I weighed 264, I had followed some tips and I had shown some weight loss.
That same month on Christmas we got a Wii Fit at home from Santa so I started using it. I tried to do my best at doing daily routines and I was starting to lose weight. I had gotten to a 253 all time low. But then for some reason I don't recall I stopped excersising on the machine so I went on to gain weight. I think about seventeen days had passed since I hadn't touched the Wii Fit and I went on to weigh 258. A few days passed without using it and I went on to weight .4 more than previously. That was today. I possibly weigh between 259 and 260.
But now I am motivated by two things: I want to look good for my graduation and I am starting to like someone so I want to look good. So I decided to start this experiment. This kind of weight loss log to see how I am doing and to track the foods I consume and the time I spend doing excersise, etc. I also plan to give my reviews on the Wii Fit minigames and give tips on weight loss that help me and might help other overweight teens and adults on losing weight.
Signed,
Alex
